Simon Casciano

Simon Casciano graduated in 2011 with first class honours in Oriental Medicine following six years study at ICOM. He is interested in preserving  the achievements of the college’s founder, Dr Van Buren (1921-2003)  and works in close association with practitioners who knew him and his pioneering work extremely well.

He travels regularly to Holland for study trips with master acupuncturist Joan Duveen and also practises acupuncture at Neil’s Yard Therapy Rooms in Covent Garden and in Surrey with Dr. Van Buren’s wife, Pauline.

Prior to studying acupuncture, Simon played music and travelled the world as a performer. He continues to play and teach piano in his spare time.
