otherwise, unfortunately, a full charge will be made.

ICOMmunity acupuncture project

Multi bed clinic: With a Registered Acupuncturist in a shared treatment room with dividing screens for privacy. First consultations are held in a private consultation room.

  • Appointment time: 1 – 1 ½ hours
  • Saturdays: 10:00am – 4:00pm Thursday evenings 4:00pm – 7:00 pm

Student Clinic

Individual treatment with one of our final year Acupuncture Students. There is always an experienced Registered Acupuncturist on hand to advise if necessary. Please click here for more information about the Student Clinic.

To date I have had 10 treatments with one of the final year students. I am well pleased! I would recommend acupuncture and have already persuaded one of my friends to have treatment. I approached the sessions with an open mind, not expecting instant improvement. After 4 sessions I was feeling the benefit and continue to improve.

Massage Clinic

All massage treatments are given by practitioners or acupuncture students fully trained and qualified in therapeutic massage. A range of massage techniques are used. Each massage is tailored to the specific needs of the patient following a short consultation.

  • Tuesdays: 10:00am – 4:00pm Thursdays: 4:30pm – 7:30pm Saturdays: 10:00am – 4:00pm
  • Therapeutic Massage: £35 (1 hour) Aromatherapy Massage: £43 (1 hour) Half an hour or 1 1/2 hour appointments also available

 

For the last two years I received massage at the ICOM Clinic. I went for treatment for two reasons: to help repair some of the damage I do to my legs by running so much; and for personal relaxation and “me time”. The massages have always been to a high standard and I have been made to feel completely at ease during the treatments. We discuss how I am feeling at each appointment and the treatment is tailored so injuries and problems are considered. I leave feeling relaxed and uplifted.
