The first ever Acupuncture Awareness Week in the UK, supported by the British Acupuncture Council, will take place on the 27th February – 4th of March 2012. The week aims to dispel the myths surrounding acupuncture and give people all the information they need about treatment and what to expect.

To support Acupuncture Awareness Week, the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM) is offering a series of FREE Acupuncture Treatments in our Student Clinic.

ICOM update – College will be OPEN tomorrow, and lectures are expected to take place, unless conditions deteriorate overnight. All main roads in the area are clear currently, as is the rail network. The College entrance and car park will be cleared of snow by 9am for drivers; please prepare ahead for your journey and allow for it to take longer than usual.

All Students are expected to try to attend; if you are really unable to come please co-ordinate with your Year Group Rep and also call Gill at College as soon as possible.
