The college is fully accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board (BAAB) allowing successful graduates  eligibility to apply to the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) for professional registration and membership.

Past graduates of the college are some of the current leading figures in the professional arena, including educators, writers and leaders of Acupuncture's professional body .

Our current faculty have vast experience in education and professional expertise; out teaching staff include two Doctors of Philosophy, an Executive Committee member of the British Acupuncture Council, and the former Principal of the British School of Osteopathy.

Our course is based on a thorough grounding in the classics of Chinese Medicine and Philosophy. ICOM is the only College to teach Stems and Branches to such an advanced level and to teach the practical clinical application of this philosophy.

There is a fully integrated full time clinic in the college. The philosophical framework is used practically in the college clinic enabling you to learn through direct experience. The final part of the third year is similar to an "internship", allowing students the opportunity to treat patients within the safe environment of the college clinic. You don't need to find your own patients - we do that for you.

The college is friendly, classes are small and the ethos supportive. We are internationally renowned with professionally qualified staff.

Diagnosis is taught with particular emphasis on the pulse and in conjunction with the philosophical framework of Stems and Branches.

Graduates emerge from the course furnished with skills and abilities that enable them to learn to practice acupuncture to the highest standards with complete confidence. This means they can treat patients with a wide range of health problems, treating the root cause as well as symptoms.
